I see that The Easy Breather has made TV Tropes' list of "So Bad It's Horrible" webcomics. Many webcomics are better than mine, but many others are worse. (How come the highly erotic Dreamwalk Journal is Better Than It Sounds, while my webcomic, which has no explicit sexual content, is considered So Bad It's Horrible?) People are entitled to their opinions, but at least they are not insulting me personally. Here are my defenses:
- The visual style of a webcomic does not determine its quality. At least one poster to the Australian forum has said he likes my work.
- The nudity issue is not open to debate, nor is the tobacco issue.
- I am not forcing anyone to read my webcomic. I have an exit link at the top of every page.
I also am aware that on this page, the little boy's hair is darker than it was on the previous page. That wasn't intentional, though when I was a child, my hair spontaneously changed from light to dark and back.
