I got the idea for this chapter from reading the "Never Be a Hero" article at the TV Tropes Wiki. The panel backgrounds on this page are digital photographs I took on the north side of my town.
This past weekend I upgraded to Safari 3.2, which includes anti-phishing features. Unfortunately, because of the continual crashes, I uninstalled the PithHelmet browser plug-in, which I had installed on my Mac mini to suppress certain advertising banners.
Also this weekend, I read a brief but shockingly uncivil forum post at pcpwerplay.com.au, calling The Easy Breather one of the worst webcomics ever. For one thing, it is untrue that "all the characters [in my webcomic] get naked" (emphasis mine). Heaven forbid that this critic, who posts as "noobule", should read Taña, Island Princess.
