Egad! Is it the end of April already? This year, Easter came about as late as it can. Most of the United States endured a very long winter with very deep snow, likely an aftereffect of the recent disasters in Japan. Thankfully, spring weather has arrived at last.
I see that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration is asking tobacco farmers and processors to let its agents see how tobacco products are made. Although the FDA visits wouldn't be official inspections, tobacco companies would still have to pay user fees charged by the FDA, if I understand this report correctly.
