The Easy Breather may be down while I look for a replacement copy of Poser 5 for Mac OS X (or at least the Poser 1-4 figure geometry files, as I now have DAZ Studio 3), but she's not out. Despite the unexpected and indefinite hiatus, my comic has experienced another surge in readership and Project Wonderful bidding as of Oct. 26-27, according to PW statistics.
Below is one of my very early drawings of the Easy Breather, from early June 1994, when I believed falsely that a secret identity was the norm for a fictional crime fighter. Despite the biblical quote, I do not intend for Samantha to make any messianic claim regarding herself. I still encourage my readers to submit fan art of the Easy Breather and her friends.
Although indoor public places in South Dakota are now officially smoke free with the passage of Referred Law 12 (hooray!), the Easy Breather and her allies will somehow continue their campaign for truth, justice and clean air. I'm still thinking about how to make that murder mystery plot work.
