I don't know what to think of the recent anti-piracy bills in Congress. On one hand, I'm all for protecting intellectual property, but I also want to see a broader public domain and more respect for the doctrines of fair use and first sale.
Next Tuesday, Jan. 31, the first season of Hanna-Barbera's Pac-Man animated series is coming on DVD from Warner Home Video as a manufacture-on-demand title. I'd like to own a copy, but it's a DVD-R release, so I'm not sure it will play on my first-generation Mac mini.
