Samantha Dawn Lewis, smart and sexy as she is, may not know what her next adventure will be, but I've begun plotting it. I hope to have the first page up in early November.
One of my concerns is the ongoing consolidation of U.S. media ownership. It seems that even National Public Radio, which receives some of its funds directly from listeners, has been putting money before people, in the wake of what might as well be the cancellation of World of Opera. Its host was not even an employee of NPR, but a freelancer. I would prefer to get news and entertainment from organizations that are neither too conservative nor too liberal. At the same time, I refuse to believe that all corporate executives are corrupt, or that they all lack respect for their employees.
