Lately, The Easy Breather has not had a very high rating at Comicracy, or many advertising bids on Project Wonderful. I'm afraid my last few stories have been somewhat too bizarre, even by the standards of the webcomic medium.
The U.S. state of Georgia has abused the death penalty by killing Troy Anthony Davis on Sept. 22, despite all the doubt about his guilt, for only one reason: Davis was black. I myself am not black, but I have great respect for black people, unlike Lawrence Russell Brewer of Texas, a white supremacist who was executed a few hours before Davis, for his role in the 1998 dragging death of a black man. What's done is done, but the United States' entire justice system must overcome ethnic prejudice and return to "innocent until proved guilty".
