The credit card hassles continue. Today (April 4) I discovered that some criminal had somehow acquired my credit card account number (I routinely shred any paper that has my account number on it) and made over $2,400 in Internet-related purchases. When I called to report the problem, the woman who took my call said I didn't have to pay. She canceled my current card, and will send me a new card with a different account number. I hope they catch the scoundrel(s) who did this and stole my other credit card payment.
